
MEDITERRANEAN KOFTA WITH SPICED RICE TAHINI AND PICKLED ONION
Bold, vibrant, and full of Middle Eastern soul — this dish is a celebration of smoky spices, aromatic rice, and creamy, tangy contrasts that come together in a satisfying, protein-rich bowl.
At the heart is our succulent Mediterranean-style kofta, made with spiced minced lamb, finely chopped herbs, garlic, and warming spices like cumin, coriander, and paprika. Grilled until beautifully golden and juicy, the kofta delivers deep, savoury flavour with every bite.
It’s served over a bed of fragrant spiced rice, cooked with onion, garlic, and subtle aromatics like cinnamon and allspice — fluffy, warm, and perfectly seasoned. Drizzled over the top is a creamy tahini sauce, made with tahini, lemon juice, and garlic, offering a rich, nutty contrast that brings the whole bowl together.
To finish, we add a scatter of vibrant pickled red onions, their zesty tang cutting through the richness and adding crunch, colour, and a hit of brightness. A final garnish of fresh parsley ties everything together in a dish that’s hearty yet refreshing, balanced and deeply satisfying.
